Wow

Time is flying! Lambeau is 15 weeks old today! Last time I weighed him he just about doubled his weight from when I got him! He was up to 21 pounds! He's doing really well at housebreaking AND at puppy class. He absoluteyl LOVES puppy play hour. There is another boxer a month older named Chester that he likes to follow around and play with. I need to figure out how to upload pics to the blog and I'll get some pics of Lambeau up. He hardly ever has accidents in the house, but he still messes up his crate a lot when I'm at work. He is such a snuggler and he also gets really excited to play with Addy a lot of the time. Too bad he can't watch the packer game tonight! It's a HUGE game, Packers vs. Cowboys and both teams are 10-1, but it's on the NFL network, so we have to go to a bar to watch the game. I'm going to a bar close to home so I can run home at halftime to let him out. I have no batteries for my camera so I've been missing a lot of Lambeau pics lately :( He's getting so big so fast! Everyone at the vet next week is going to be surprised!!

LAMBEAU!!!

So I finally got him, little Lambeau, a GORGEOUS flashy brindle boxer boy that is just AWESOME! I ended up getting him from the Royal Velvet Boxer breeders I visited this summer. I brought him home last Saturday, October 20th. His birthday is August 16th, 2007, so he was just 9 weeks old! He went to the vet on Tuesday, October 23rd and weighed in at 11.2 pounds...a little on the light side! I weighed him today at home and a week after the trip to the vet he's put on almost 2 pounds! On Thursday I'll take 11 week pictures of him, weigh him and measure how tall he is.

I'm planning on registering him with the AKC even though he's getting neutered and as of right now, his official name, I think, is going to be Lambeau's Pride of Royal Golden Stars. Royal for Royal Velvet Boxers, Golden for his mother Golden Girl (Goldie) and Stars for his dad Stars N' Stripes (Zeus).

This very well might become Lambeau's Blog! :)

I'm trying to remember why I signed up for this again?? I wanted to update it while I was on vacation in Germany, but that's already flown by! Vacation was amazing! I logged on to post this quote that my friend put up on her facebook profile.

AND!!! SOOOO EXCITING!!
I am bound and determined to get a Boxer puppy this winter! I called the Boxer breeder I visited over the summer and they have TWO litters due, one in October and one in November! If I could get a puppy for Christmas, that would be soooo great! :)

Blah! Studying last night didn't go very well. I felt like my attention span was 4 seconds long! I'm in a pickle now too...I'm on call but we used up all the neutral protease at the isolation on Friday night, so we can't have another isolation til we get more NP. This means I *can* go see Blue October at Summerfest, but I should probably stay home to study for the MCAT. :( hmmm, I wish there was a way to go see them AND study...the test is this Friday, so it's getting to be crunchtime. I had to go into work this morning and do some assessments, so I can potentially study all afternoon til 4 when Kile was planning on leaving for Milwaukee. And we have a softball game tonight. That might be kinda bad if we BOTH ditch it...

alright, gotta finish my statics so I can go study more!

First Posting

Here's the first posting in my blog! Not sure how well this is going to go over...but I'll give it a shot! Most of the excitement in my life right now consists of reapplying to medical school. I'll be sure to keep you posted on the advancements in that department. Maybe I'll add the list of schools I'm applying to a little later...I'm still trying to decide on a few more schools...

All right, back to work for now. It's the week of the fourth and both the PhD bosses are out of the lab today and tomorrow...still gotta be a little productive though! :)
